First, before you wipe your table clean, you should take out the billiard balls from the table's pockets and wipe them using a clean, damp cloth. Put them aside in a case or in any clean surface for a while while you continue cleaning the table.

Then, you can start cleaning the hanging lamps using a damp cloth to remove all accumulated dust and dirt which fall off on the table. Dust is a primary factor leading to the wearing of the table's felt. Cleaning the lamp up is very important so you can enjoy the game better with clearer lights.

Using dry cloth, wipe off the dust from the railings and push it to the floor so that you can vacuum it later on. Afterwards, you can clean the felt surface by brushing it to keep it clean and dust free. Remove all chalk dust or dirt. By maintaining the felt in its pristine condition, you can definitely play pool much more effectively. You can take care of it better by covering it up with a special cover used for table felts or any clean sheet.

The pocket holes should also be given importance as these are the places where dust and dirt accumulate. Wipe the insides of the pocket with damp cloth and continue wiping to the outside. Lastly, don't forget to wipe the wood clean. You can apply some wood furniture furnish to keep it looking new.
