There are many internationally recognized TESOL courses on offer through various companies, some well known, some not so. Whether you are completing a TESOL course online or face-to-face, there are many benefits that come from teaching English to speakers of other languages.

Becoming a fully qualified TESOL teacher allows you to teach in nearly every country, giving you the freedom to travel and earn all at the same time. When booking your TESOL trip abroad, many companies, including reputable English language schools, offer you many added benefits to entice you. Many of these benefits include accommodation and daily meals, additional training and constant support, even help with organizing and offering to pay for your visas if they are necessary.

Even though many companies offer teaching placements abroad to people who do not have a TESOL qualification, you can guarantee that they won' t be the better jobs. What comes with having a TESOL qualification is the knowledge that many companies will pay decent salaries, offer better employment benefits and even better working conditions. The practicalities of becoming a qualified TESOL teacher is that after graduating you automatically have access to the internationally recognized TESOL jobs board, allowing you easy access and help in finding the perfect job and location for you. With this comes help in preparing your CV and access to a large contact list of language schools.

There are many personal benefits when completing a TESOL course. Many foreign speaking people may know basic conversational English, but they can't apply all of it to everyday situations. Being able to teach them the correct processes in order for them to use correct English in real life, will guarantee job satisfaction by allowing you that feeling of accomplishment.

By teaching abroad it also allows you to visit and tour all those places you have dreamed about. This experience allows you to see past the usual tourist destinations and really become submerged in the local culture. Many TESOL placements often come attached to volunteer programs allowing you to help build a community whether it be building a school and teaching its pupils or just volunteering on various projects to provide a better life for the local people.

With any other job you'll mainly be expected to work week days allowing you the weekends to explore your local surroundings. Not all TESOL placements are based abroad many are in fact here in America. With so many people migrating to the US and participating in a TESOL course you are sure to gain experience as a trainee TESOL teacher, and with a wide range of jobs in various locations on offer you are sure to find one in a state that suits you. Whether you are based abroad or not you will not only get to meet and interact with your pupils, you will also get to socialize with fellow TESOL teachers allowing you to build up a support network of fellow peers who are experiencing the same things as you, not only guaranteeing friends for your trip but more often than not friends for life.
