Some people have hobbies and some don't. Those who don't should consider finding a good one, one that they would enjoy with some kind of regularity. Studies have actually shown that people with hobbies are generally more content and happy in life than those who don't have one. That's not to say that people without a hobby are going to be depressed all the time, anymore than it means that those with a hobby are going to run around happy all the time. It's just a very generalized statement that affects more people than not.
The problem with many hobbies is that the cost makes it somewhat difficult to enjoy them on a regular basis. You may love to go shopping for nice purses, but the expense of those nice purses limits your opportunities to participate. You may love to play golf with all your girlfriends, but the price of golf may make it difficult to play regularly.
If you've never thought about it before, you should consider photo books, a great inexpensive hobby. It's a hobby that you can get started on for the cost of a digital camera, and you can get one that will serve the purpose just fine for less than $100 these days. With a decent camera and some thoughtful planning on themes for your photo books, you could create a new photo book every month or two, for a cost of less than $25 per book. In fact, the cost can be much less than that, depending on the size and number of pages of your books.
Each week you could be taking a few pictures to add to your photo book, then once you have enough (maybe 30-40), to choose the best ones from, you're ready to make your photo book. All you have to do is go online to Modern Greetings (www.moderngreetings.com), and follow their exclusive 3-step interface, supported by their state-of-the-art technology. It will take you through the step-by-step process of making the best choices for your book. Although the technology does all the hard work for you, the choices and combinations that you make are what dictate the results, and that's all you and you will be impressed.
It won't be your standard store-bought photo book with pictures stuck in it either. This will be a very nice custom printed hard linen cover book, with your photos developed into the pages of your book in perfect alignment, with beautiful captions printed in stylish fonts of your choice, and a title on the cover that looks as good as any really nice book that you would buy in a book store.
Photo Books can be such a great and inexpensive hobby. Try it and you'll see what I mean.
